Spring is coming! And in this beautiful editorial, florist Fioritura inspires the season with a pastel wedding. Classic favorite flowers, romantic stationery and beautiful details form the basis for this editorial. It feels like an almost dreamlike world!
Fioritura florist Ciera Schmid tells: “Our vision was one of understated luxury. Where the depth of old-world, antique silver accents, the bride’s antique ring and the modern lines of the bride’s gown and accessories gracefully combine. Also the bride’s background as a dancer flows through the images. The pastel color palette evokes the warmth of the first days of spring and the coolness of the last days of winter.
For the wedding cake, simplicity is combined with a touch of extravagance, with beautiful sugar flowers. Besides that, floaty blooms like Queen Anne’s Lace and chocolate cosmos are mixed with classical garden favorites. Hydrangea, clematis and garden roses create natural yet dramatic shapes that blended beautifully with the surrounding garden.
Rich linens and silk accents cover the tables and add an additional in-depth feeling. This creates a beautiful, small scene where each guest is a bit spoiled by personal touches such as tiny macaron favors and personalized menus. Above all, the contentedness and joy of the bride and groom is tangible by all!”
