Tuscany is one of the most popular wedding destinations in Europe. The authentic buildings, picturesque landscapes and fantastic food provide the perfect scene for an amazing wedding.
With a varied range of wedding locations, Tuscany also offers many possibilities. For instance, think of a small, picturesque village, a great estate between the vineyards or an intimate family villa among the centuries-old olive trees. Whatever you choose, getting married in Tuscany is a dream!
The German couple Manuel and Laura also opted for a romantic Tuscan wedding. Together with family and friends they stayed in the beautiful Villa Sermolli.
This ancient villa is located on the top of a hill in the village of Buggiano Castello, known for its beautiful gardens full of lush citrus trees.
Villa Sermolli is painted with the characteristic red color of Pompeii, or rosso pompeiano. The villa is surrounded by a baroque-styled garden and has several rooms decorated with the most beautiful frescoes. From the roof terrace you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view over the valley and see from San Gimignano to Volterra.
Laura’s best friend and bridesmaid is a stylist and took care of the flower arrangements and decorations. Because the wedding started in the late afternoon, she could spend the whole morning working on it. Thanks to her great planning skills and a little help, everyone was ready for the ceremony on time.
On the roof terrace, surrounded by the beautiful view, Manuel and Laura said ‘I do’ to each other. The ceremony was led by both of their fathers and of course everyone shed a few tears!
The ceremony was of course followed by champagne and an aperitivo, and for the couple a short photo shoot during the golden hour.
Dinner was enjoyed in the garden of Villa Sermolli and despite the intense, warm day, dancing was continued until the early hours.
‘La vita ѐ bella’ is all we can say about Manuel and Laura’s beautiful wedding!
