Since Adrienne and Niels met, not a day has passed when they are not together. They share a common passion: traveling! And preferably all over the world. On their fourth date they flew to Barcelona and for date number twenty to Paris. Since they both love to travel so much, they decided to quit their jobs and book a one-way ticket to Sri Lanka. But before they left, they celebrated their elopement in France, at Chateau de Bouthonvilliers!

Getting married at Chateau de Bouthonvilliers

Niels has been coming to France with his family all his life. Chateau de Bouthonvilliers felt like the perfect place to celebrate the love he and Adrienne share.

Subtle styling was provided for the occasion with flowers from Dusty Blue florist Let Love Blossom. The styling is fully in line with the intimate and romantic character of the chateau. The color palette consisting of pastel shades with yellow accents is subtle but beautifully present. Of course, such an authentic location doesn’t need much decoration!

Bride Adrienne wore two different dresses. For the first look and ceremony she wore a dress by Riki Dalal Noya. For the photo shoot and dinner she chose a Tara Keely dress. In this she danced all night under the stars! Something Adrienne and Niels do a lot, dancing. But preferably together in their living room when no one is watching.

Writing personal wedding vows

Niels writes in his vows: “Dancing in the living room. You show me what happiness is. When I look at you I see someone I am proud of. Because of you I started to follow my dreams. Sharing our passion together and dreaming on together is all I want.”

And Adrienne replied in her vows: “I believe that true love is inexplicable. Something magical, something elusive, something that has no reason. But still I want to put words to it because I believe it’s too important. Because you are too important to me.”
