Getting Married in a Greenhouse

The inspiration for this editorial is the greenhouse of the Rousant, located in the far north of the Netherlands. As a true Groninger, Michèlle loves to show you how beautiful her province is and that there are beautiful places to get married!
The green nature and the water form a natural backdrop, which is beautifully complemented for this spring wedding with a soft and modest color palette of pink, ivory and sand tones. Yellow details such as the flower stamens and lemon illustrations in the stationery provide a subtle color accent. And the light blue wedding suit of the groom also adds to the fresh look of the color palette!

As a fine art photographer, Michèlle loves natural light! When the sun is low, the light and shadows are soft and at their best. You may have heard of this; the ‘golden hour’. This starts about an hour and a half before sunset and creates a magical golden glow! You will see this reflected in the romantic images in the harbor later in this editorial.
