After moving their big wedding at Ferme de Balingue three times, groom Louis took matters into his own hands. Together with their wedding planner, he organized a small-scale ceremony as a surprise for his Marie-Hélène. Intimate with just the two of you. But of course their parents, brothers and sisters couldn’t miss out on this special day!
What a treat did this couple get! Getting married in the fall can of course be a bit exciting in terms of the weather. But as if it had been so granted, the weather behaved at its autumn-best. The low autumn sun makes the warm colors of the leaves shine. It almost looks like a decor of gold!
Wedding planner and stylist Eline from Elegant Events also contributed to this beautiful decor. Thanks to the beautiful weather, the intimate ceremony could take place outside. Eline placed a beautiful round backdrop here, decorated with flowers from Lots Flower Art.
A fresh pop of color in this wedding’s palette is light turquoise. You’ll see this shade of blue reflected in the stationery, hydrangeas, Catberry Pastries’ gorgeous eye-catching wedding cake and – yes! – Marie-Hélène’s father’s tie.
Dusty Blue photographer Elisabeth van Lent was present to capture this special day. She says about this: “From a very big wedding to something super intimate. And then still so beautiful! I feel privileged to have been able to capture this!”
Also the newlyweds Louis and Marie-Hélène were more than satisfied with their intimate wedding: “Our day was super romantic! We would like to thank our vendors for this. They gave the best of themselves to make our day go on. They really went the extra mile!”
Enjoy this sunny autumn wedding at Ferme de Balingue!
