The historic Chateau de Bouthonvilliers is about an hour’s drive from Paris. Located on a classic estate in Dangeau, it is a beloved wedding location amongst couples and wedding suppliers. No wonder you see the Chateau appear regularly in our articles!
One of our favorite wedding photographers Wike Zijlstra photographed the French authenticity of Chateau de Bouthonvilliers in a stylish editorial. The color palette was perfectly coordinated with the Chateau. The feeling of haute couture is created by earthy colors which are combined with striking white and black tones. Together they form a beautiful contrast with a very luxurious and classic look.
Wike tells: “Chateau de Bouthonvilliers has a lot of space to get married outside, with beautiful places to photograph everywhere. This shoot is for the bride who is looking for a more editorial look, also known as haute couture. These influences are incorporated in the light tulle bow with polka dots and the detailed top of the dress.
The bridal bouquet is designed by Janna Brown. A very talented florist who spends her time between Paris and her hometown Nashville, USA. She is inspired by nature, which make her bouquets very natural and organic. Calligrapher Shasta Bell provided the stationery for this bridal inspiration shoot. Also a true professional! For a luxurious look she chose to use gold foil in her design.”
