Right in the center of Voorburg stands the Old Church, the oldest church building of the city. This special building was built between 1200 and 1460, but has a very modern feel thanks to its beautiful light interior. The white walls and the azure blue roof almost feel Mediterranean!
Canceling their bigger wedding plans didn’t stop Marcella and Weslley from celebrating their love. Here in the Old Church in Voorburg they said ‘I do’ to each other and photographer José Chan was there to capture everything beautifully!
Bride Marcella arrived at the Old Church in Voorburg in a classic Rolls-Royce. Her Stella York wedding dress has a sleek silhouette and is made of matte lace and silky crepe. The deep V-neckline and lace back look great on her! Marcella paired her dress with a handmade lace veil from designer Sara Gabriel and bridal shoes from Menbur.
Both the bridal bouquet and the beautiful flower arrangements for the ceremony were provided by Bloemenhuis Duivenvoorden in Wassenaar.
After the blessing of their marriage, the newlyweds toasted to their future and cut a lovely snow-white wedding cake, made by Sprinkles Bakery in Rijswijk.
Finally, together with their photographer José Chan, they drove to Landgoed Clingendael between The Hague and Wassenaar for a romantic photo shoot.
About choosing José as their photographer, Marcella and Weslley say:
“We are very happy that we chose José as a photographer for our wedding! The communication is great, she works very professionally and the result is beautiful. The photos look like they came straight out of a wedding magazine! She has a timeless and light style, just the way we wanted. We get compliments on our wedding photos from everyone. If we ever want to do another photo shoot, we know where to find her!”
Enjoy this intimate wedding!
