About the shoot:
“For this shoot, we were inspired by the blooming of nature. Green is about new beginnings and a fresh start. And there is nothing more romantic than the growth of two lovers.
Another important element in the shoot is ivy. Ivy can only continue to grow when the roots connect and attach to the soil. Likewise in love you can become stronger and continue to grow by connecting with each other.
The elegance of ivy in combination with a romantic wedding dress and accessories are the perfect inspiration for a beautiful spring wedding.
Photographers Mariska Staal and Dilani Schipper captured the romantic images for this shoot. Restaurant de Oranjerie provides a fairytale decor. The soft colors in the make-up of Amber by Bride & Beauty Netherlands provides a romantic look, which is finished with a beautiful silver hair accessory from SYTTD. Amber wears a beautiful lace dress from bridal boutique Modern Romance with Bella Belle shoes underneath.
The stunning pastel flower arrangements, colorful roses and wild flowers that create the romantic setting are from Ninja Floral Design. SugarLips Cakes provided the soft pink cake, which is covered with ivy to match the theme of this shoot. Amber’s engagement ring is kept in a handmade velvet ring box from The Knot Heirlooms.
GG Weddings & Events has done an excellent job of styling the romantic dinner table, with silverware, candles and crystal glasses from Dille & Kamille. The beautiful stationery set from Pen to Paper and the hand-drawn illustrations fit perfectly into the romantic spring theme and are make for a perfect finishing touch.”
